Then, you have to deal with some players getting their PCs overloaded by Discord or servers that have too many channels. Even if you’re not dealing with toxic randoms in the lobby, you may be trying to use noise suppression or avoid noise-based triggers in a game. That said, a lot of people end up using Discord to talk to each other because in-game party chats can be messy, buggy, or just awkward if there are other players that aren’t in your circle.
Whether you’re lobbying with strangers or having fun with your friends, it’s an engaging way to experience games today. Online multiplayer is a major component of gaming that is likely never going to go away.
